The Rammkjellar’n Bar is one of the few cellars in Røros’ listed buildings that are open to the public. The Rammkjellar'n Bar has retained most of the traditional characteristics of a Røros cellar and is big enough to become lively, while also small enough to be snug and cosy.

On Friday evenings, different bands perform to a broad range of tastes; rock, blues and ballad-singing are recurring themes. On Saturdays, there is a quiz night, as well as karaoke, themed parties and other types of entertainment. Local clubs have fixed bridge nights and other social gatherings at the Rammkjellar’n Bar.

The bar’s solid stone walls, which previously housed Røros Bank’s first vault, are now adorned with wall paintings depicting dramatic events from the great Scandinavian war of the early 1700s.
